Outdoor School
Every 2 years our amazing grade 5 & 6 students are able to attend
Outdoor school at Camp Chief Hector. This is an amazing opportunity for
our students to be able to connect with nature, learn new information &
participate in a variety of amazing activities.

Mandatory Parent Meeting on Thurs. Sept. 19 @ 6:00
PM - 6:45 PM

During this meeting, a representative from Camp Chief Hector will be
attending and you will learn what will be offered & a Q & A session

NOTE: there will be NO available
conferences for our Grade 5-6 Teams during this time
Terry Fox day
Mark your calendars this year our Terry Fox day is being
held Tues. Sept. 17. On this day our students are invited to dress
up as their favorite superhero, a short assembly will be held, and then go
outside to run. Specific details will be posted next week.
Welcome Dance
What an amazing turnout and can we just say our belfasty students sure
know how to dance! We want to thank everyone for their donations again
these will go towards field trip busses for our students. We hope to see you all again, when We Care
will be hosting the next dance in the early part of 2020.

Some General information regarding casinos…. They are the biggest source
of funding for schools (approx. $60,000+), 40 ppl are necessary to run this
fundraiser successfully & NO police checks required!!! Please sign up to

- 5 volunteers needed for the day shift (10:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- 3 volunteers needed for the evening shift (7:00 PM - 4:00 AM)
- 4 volunteers needed for the count room (11:00 PM - 4:00 AM)
Fri., September 27
- 3 volunteers needed for the day shift (10:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- 1 volunteer needed for the evening shift (7:00 PM - 4:00 AM)
