CPO summary, Rehearsal Schedule, FAMILY DANCE

Jan. 27-30
Upcoming Date Reminders
·         Thursday, Jan 30: Report sent home
·         Friday, Jan 31: NO SCHOOL

The CPO, the Hockey Sweater & Junior Ballet performance

As the lights dimmed and the performance started all our #befastystudents, staff & many volunteers were memorized! The 1st act had  the Narrator reading aloud The Hockey Sweater & COP played along; the story was brought to life.  The 2nd act the COP played an amazing orchestral piece and was accompanied by the Junior Ballet.  The dancers were graceful & their movements fluid.

Students remarks about the field trip were:
“My favorite parts were the dancers, the music & the bus ride (Kindergarten student); “The story was brought to life and the music was loud!” (grade 1 student);  You could almost feel the dancers movements while the music flowed around them! (Belfast staff member).

We want to thank EdMatters who provided us a grant to be able to attend this event & Ms. El-Guebaly who organized the entire field trip.  Without her organization all of us would not have had the privilege to attend this wonderful performance.  Also, thank you’s go to our amazing #belfaststudents who absolutely were on their best behavior & the many volunteers that helped keep all of our students together & safe.
